You may pay a fixed amount every month for utilities such as electricity, water, gas, tv and internet through your rent.

Why have I received an extra utilities bill?

The amount you pay on account each month is an estimated cost. Once a year the actual accounts will be calculated and if what you have paid so far is insufficient to your use, you will receive an extra bill to cover the cost.

Will I get money back and when?

If you have paid more on account than needed to cover your bill you will get a refund. How and when will be described in the letter, when you receive your annual utilities account.

Can I adjust the amount I pay on account for utilities?

If you receive an extra bill, you can call us and have the amount adjusted to be a more accurate estimate of your utility-use.

How do I lodge a complaint regarding my utilities accounts?

If you wish to object to your annual utilities account, send an e-mail to energi@kab-bolig.dk. You must do this no later than six weeks after receiving the utilities account statement.
